Hi, Rich here, What people who don’t suffer from this condition can’t understand is that tinnitus does control your life. They don’t understand this because there are no visible signs. You can’t show someone ‘tinnitus’, all you can do is try to describe the sensation. It becomes something that you have to deal with on your own,and it is something that can consume your life. Of course, tinnitus treatment is available from your local doctor. But after visiting my doctor, and being referred to a specialist ear, nose and throat doctor, I was told simply to try and ignore the ear buzzing noise that was filling my head. I tried, I even bought the ‘calming music’ to help me.
It didn’t work. After so many years of suffering alone with this condition, I believed that I would have to go through the rest of my life carrying tinnitus with me like some invisible, inaudible car alarm constantly going off in my head. Due to some luck on my part (meeting a fellow sufferer and talking about our experiences) I was fortunate enough to stumble upon the one thing that has changed my life around, and given me freedom from tinnitus.
I was able to come to terms with, and beat tinnitus without expensive and unnecessary surgery, without using dreary background music, and without taking drugs. I have been able to take back control every part of my life – social and home. My marriage is better now than it was before I started getting ringing in my ears. I really want other sufferers to feel like I now do.

12 years is a long time to have your life on hold. I have missed out on job opportunities, my social life, and even my marriage has taken the strain, just because of the ‘ringing in the ears’ that is tinnitus.
I was constantly stressed, and the thought of getting up in the morning (assuming I had slept the night before) was one I couldn’t bare. I knew what the day had in store for me, and it started the moment I opened my eyes. It was hard for my friends and family to know what I was going through because there are no physical effects of tinnitus. Apart from in my case, the drowsyness from lack of sleep, and the short temper I had developed because that ringing had consumed my life.
As someone entering the prime of their life, I didn’t want to have to be ruled by what one stupid condition had made me. And I was lucky that in the end I found tinnitus relief where others had failed to help me.

Ever since I first started getting the first signs of tinnitus (and found out what it was) I have been trying to find tinnitus relief from every place you could imagine.
